Customer Support Officer 

Fibre King is an Australian fourth-generation family business founded in 1926.  We have spent decades designing, manufacturing and maintaining the highest quality end of line packaging equipment for production facilities of all sizes across Australia, New Zealand, Asia, US, Canada, Middle East and Europe.

We are looking to add an experienced administrator to join our high performing customer support and project management team.  The winning candidate will possess exceptional communication and organisational skills and will have high attention to detail and be able to perform accurate reporting, data entry and quoting task. 

 

Above all else, we are looking for a confident and experienced team player that is proactive and detail focused.

 

ABOUT YOU: The Successful applicant must:

 

  • Have 7 years + experience in a similar role.

  • Be punctual, reliable, enthusiastic, motivated, organised & proactive.

  • Be able to demonstrate a positive approach and work within a team environment.

  • Have excellent English verbal & written communication skills.

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook computer programs.

  • Be a permanent Australian resident & have a reliable means of transport.

 

THE ROLE: Reporting to the Customer Support Manager will be responsible for:

 

  • Client liaison.

  • Liaise with tradespeople & apprentices and coordinate field staff logistics.

  • Monitor and review incoming client work requests via email or telephone & prioritise.

  • Liaise with internal management stakeholders and escalate issues.

  • Schedule reactive & preventative maintenance works.  

  • Assist with the coordination & management of company resources to maximise efficiencies.

  • Order parts from Suppliers and arrange dispatch & data entry.

  • Invoice & Accounts Receivable

  • Ensure all OH&S Legislation, Company, Customer safety policies and procedures are considered and adhered to at all times.

  • Support administration of complete safe work method statement (SWMS) prior to commencing site work

  • ISO 2015 compliance: maintenance tasks including updating register, non-conformance and equipment maintenance. Create documents for department and factory related procedures and processes.
