Engineering Innovation, Not Following It
With 100 years of engineering expertise, Fibre King has consistently led the development of packaging automation — not followed it.
From the 1950s, Fibre King (then R.L. Windsor & Son) was among the first Australian companies to design and manufacture locally engineered packaging machinery, at a time when the industry relied on imported or licensed equipment.
This leadership continued with the development of Fibre King’s own technologies, including the design and manufacture of its first automatic palletising machine in 1984 — a significant advancement in Australian end-of-line automation capability.
Today, this engineering-led approach continues to drive innovation across the business, including:
-
Oryx Automation® – advanced crate and bin handling systems
-
Integrated end-of-line solutions – combining case packing, palletising, conveying, and robotics
-
Paksmart acquisition (2024) – expanding capabilities into cartoning, card feeding, and leaflet handling systems
Fibre King continues to design and manufacture high-performance automation systems that set industry benchmarks for reliability, flexibility, and long-term value.
