FIBRE KING'S WRAP UP OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL AUSPACK YET
See what Fibre King's CEO had to say about Australia's largest packaging and processing exhibition for 2019.
AUSPACK 2019 was a great success, being the largest show in its 34 year history with over 350 exhibitors and 6,200 visitors it is safe to say that the tradeshow was a buzz with excitement, innovation and great conversation.
AUSPACK, Australia's largest and most prestigious exhibition on the processing and packaging calendar, brings together thousands of leading professionals and key players in the global processing and packaging arena. The event is organised and delivered by Exhibitions and Trade Fairs (ETF) and it is owned and presented by the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA). Fibre King’s CEO, James Windsor sits on the board of the APPMA that incorporates 10 of Australia’s key industry players. “It is an honour to be a part of the APPMA and be directly involved in the organising of Auspack. The event provides the optimum platform for Australian production facilities to see the latest technology and innovations from industry leaders and ultimately find better solutions to improve their production lines”. Says James.
As Australia’s largest processing and packaging event occurring every other year means that industry players put a lot of emphasis on those four days and do their best to attract new and existing customers, suppliers and potential partners to their stands. Fibre King is no exception.
This year’s event was held in Melbourne and as an industry leader, Fibre King is a consistent exhibitor at the event and has been for over twenty-five years. “Auspack is one of our favourite industry events. We particularly enjoy being able to meet new customers, listen to their needs and know that we can help them achieve their production goals.” Says James Windsor, CEO of Fibre King “We have done 100’s of projects across the food, beverage, meat, pet food, dairy and fresh produce industries and can draw upon our industry experience that goes back at least 40 years to provide industry leading solutions to new and existing customers. Our extensive experience is what sets us apart and is something we are very proud of.” Adds James.
Being positioned right at the show’s entrance, the Fibre King team were busy speaking to potential customers and were thrilled with the level of enquiry. One of the show’s highlights for James Windsor was the interest received for their latest innovation which was on display: The 3 Axis Robotic Arm that Fibre King designed and built. “I look forward to speaking further with the interested parties to develop applications with the use of our Robotic Arm technology that will solve production challenges within complex facilities.” He said. “This innovation shows our design capability and something that drives us here at Fibre King – continually striving to improve efficiencies for our customers using the latest technology coupled with our industry experience.”
“We also saw plenty of opportunity in improving on new and existing equipment from our suppliers including SMC in areas such as improvements in energy consumption as well as smart connected control systems by Rockwell Automation for real time data feedback of machine performance. We look forward to discussing these options with our new and existing customers and ultimately improving on efficiencies.” Says James.
“I would like to say thank you to all of the visitors to our stand for giving us your time. We look forward to continuing our conversations with you over the coming weeks.”
