Unlock Advanced Visibility and Control with Fibre King's RLF Palletisers
Today’s palletising systems must do more than stack product—they need to be intelligent, connected, and transparent. That’s why Fibre King’s Robotic Layer Forming (RLF) Palletisers are engineered with advanced 10-inch Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens that give operators unparalleled control over line performance, real-time diagnostics, and machine health.
Let’s take a closer look at some of the HMI features available on our Little Pal Cobot; Pick and Place Collaborative Robotic Palletiser
Machine Overview Screen – Real-Time Visual Intelligence

Machine Overview Screen – Real-Time Visual Intelligence
The Machine Overview Screen acts as a control centre, displaying a real-time, visual representation of the palletiser and its key components. Designed for rapid diagnostics and intuitive navigation, it helps operators monitor and manage operations with clarity and confidence.
Key Features:
Visual Layout of Machine Components:
Labels and icons identify critical parts such as sensors, valves, motors, and the robot itself.
These indicators help the operator locate equipment and understand their status at a glance.
Active Alarm Display:
The top header includes an alarm banner that highlights any active faults or warnings (e.g., "ES1101 Robot E-Stop Alarm").
Pressing the alarm banner navigates the operator to the Alarms Screen for further details and resolution steps.
Navigation Shortcuts:
The bottom toolbar includes quick-access buttons for essential screens, such as alarms, settings, recipe selection, performance, and sequence controls.
This allows operators to navigate efficiently without returning to a home screen.
Machine Mode & Reset Controls:
The yellow reset button in the bottom right allows the operator to acknowledge and reset faults where applicable.
The green start button is greyed out to show the operator that there is a fault present which has interlocked the ability to start the machine.
The blue safety-reset button changes colour to indicate if a reset is required, providing clear visual feedback.
Interactive Equipment Icons:
Sensors (PE), solenoid valves (SV), VFDs, and robot gripper components are labelled and can potentially be interactive, allowing operators to access further diagnostic details by selecting them.
Benefits for the Operator:
Quickly identify and resolve issues – faulty or active components are highlighted, reducing troubleshooting time.
Intuitive machine navigation – allows operators to move seamlessly between different control screens.
Real-time monitoring – displays equipment status, alarms, and key machine parameters in one central location.
Machine Safety Screen – Full Safety Oversight

Operators can’t afford to guess when it comes to machine safety. The Machine Safety Screen offers a clear, live snapshot of all safety devices and circuits, ensuring machines are only operable when it’s safe to do so.
Key Features:
Visual Representation of Safety Devices:
Displays key safety elements such as safety sensors, emergency stops, and safety switches.
Each component is labelled to help the operator quickly locate and identify devices.
Robot Safety I/O Panel:
Displays critical robot safety inputs and outputs, including:
Emergency Stop (ES1101) – Indicates if the emergency stop has been pressed.
Safety Monitoring Relays (K0150, K0151) – Ensures the robot’s safety circuits are functioning correctly.
Machine Safety I/O Panel:
Displays machine-level safety status, including:
PS (PS1101) – Pressure switch status for the safety system.
Interactive Equipment Icons:
Light curtains and safety scanners (SS2001 CH1, CH2, CH3) are highlighted to show their positions and functionality.
Safety switches (SSW2001) are displayed, indicating access control points to hazardous zones.
Benefits for the Operator:
Ensures safety compliance – helps operators verify that all safety devices are functional before running the machine.
Quick issue diagnosis – allows for fast identification of faulty safety components, reducing downtime.
Prevents unauthorized access – displays active safety interlocks to ensure the machine remains protected.
Seamless navigation – operators can access alarms, diagnostics, and reset functions directly from this screen.
Dashboard Screen – Production Performance in Real Time

The Dashboard Screen consolidates production, performance, and efficiency data into one visual interface—perfect for shift leaders, operators, and production managers who want fast, actionable insights.
Key Features:
Current Recipe & Production Counts:
Displays the active palletising recipe (e.g., Bulk Industrial 4x5 20 Tubs).
Total Pallet Count: Tracks the number of pallets processed.
Total Case Count: Shows the number of cases processed.
Pallet A & B Counts: Breaks down pallet loads for different sections or configurations.
Reset Buttons: Allow operators to reset pallet and case counts if needed.
Performance Metrics:
CPM (Cycles Per Minute) Gauge: Displays the machine’s current operating speed.
OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) Gauge: Provides a measure of production efficiency, combining availability, performance, and quality.
Production Trends & Machine Health:
Graph Section: Logs production trends over time, with adjustable start and end times for historical analysis.
Machine Health Pie Chart: Visual representation of system performance (Production, Downtime, and Idle), helping operators identify trends and inconsistencies.
Benefits for the Operator:
Monitors production in real-time – ensures operators can track pallet and case counts instantly.
Improves efficiency – helps operators identify performance drops and take corrective actions.
Assists with troubleshooting – provides visual warnings and trends for quick issue resolution.
Supports data analysis – allows operators to review production history and optimize shift performance.
